We believe our exceptional staff is the reason O'Tooles is so successful. Although programming and location are important, it is our staff that children will remember most from their camp experience.
O'Tooles staff are well screened before being considered for employment, a process that includes an application, participation in an interview, and provision of a Enhanced Police Reference Check. (We recommend you ensure the same from any camp you consider for your child.) Each year we provide staff with an extensive training program, which includes first aid, lifeguarding, sensitivity training, emergency care training, program planning, behaviour management training and more.
We are very proud of our high staff return rate of nearly 70% compared to the industry average of 45%. We value our staff and their sincere dedication to making every child's camp experience the best it can be. At O'Tooles, "our staff makes the difference!"
